9/12/2012: Another Fabric Spree!
I’m obviously in the right industry if I get super excited & giddy about fabrics x) Please believe when I say these aren’t even all the fabrics I’ve sourced for one client haha. This is just the result of 2.75 hours of sourcing. Yesterday I did 2 hours. In total I went to 7 showrooms . At least three of these fabrics better be winners *crosses fingers*
We’ve finalized the fabrics for this 9-pc modular cushions for clients in Virginia! Woot (x2)! I had to do a little sketchy sketch to let them know which fabrics were going were. I’m super excited to get this and other drawings to the shop for fabrication :D All inserts will include natural latex foam with organic wool wrap & non-toxic adhesives, btw.
7/5/2012: Are they trying to be ghetto-fabulous or something?
Yesterday I was baffled to see this at an upscale SFDC showroom. I’ve seen fabrics with stylized gun repeats but depicting a stick-up situation. Hmm… I don’t know how this got approval to be milled & distributed. What throws me off even more is that I was in one of my favorite designer showrooms. I thought he was more sophisticated than this. Why would he ‘ok’ this on his floor? :/
